National Education Day

Hari Pendidikan Nasional, or National Education Day, is an important observance in Indonesia. It is celebrated annually on May 2nd. This day commemorates the efforts to improve and advance education in Indonesia.

The significance of National Education Day dates back to May 2, 1928, when the Indonesian Youth Congress (Kongres Pemuda Indonesia) took place in Jakarta.
